Lesotho - God's Eye - Blender Practice - Environment Design

Welcome to Lesotho, located in Southern Africa. Khosi and Bonolo travel daily to God's Eye to meet their giant friends, Litsebe and Nyane. The location is peaceful and especially picturesque around sunset.

The entire scene is rendered with Blender's real time render engine called Eevee. Being able to adjust lighting, materials etc in real time truly helped establish the mood of this scene. This is also my first ever completed Blender artwork as I've been learning Blender for the last 4 months. I really love Blender!

Megascan assets were also used for populating the scene with foliage and rocks/mountains. The giant tree like structure was created using Nanomesh in Zbrush as well as the hats (Called a Mokorotlo in Lesotho). The animals and characters are Daz assets. The clothing was created with Marvelous Designer.

I really enjoyed working on this and wanted to do something close to home as i don't see too many 3D artworks centered around Africa.
